dlcentral 1 Posted February 6, 2001 I thought I read a message recently from someone wanting to have a Simplicity/AC tractor meet on the East Coast, now I can't find it (#3006 or #3009 maybe?). Anyway, if that desire exists I can offer a central location just 50 miles south of the Mason-Dixon Line, with plenty of action, history and sightseeing nearby (Atlantic City 15 miles, Philadelphia 50 miles, New York City 100 miles, Wash DC 175 miles). It is in Egg Harbor Township (my hometown) which is in southern New Jersey. This is a 130 acre tract owned by Harry Fleming, which was formerly an auto junkyard. Harry closed the yard 10 years ago and is slowly converting the land to a "park." For the past few years Harry has hosted the "Pumpkin Run" (see link below). I am confident Harry will donate his facilities for free. So, if anyone wants to step up to the plate and organize something, let me know (Harry works outside every day and does not have an answering machine, beeper, cell phone, fax machine, email address, website, or even a computer).[A href='http://www.oldengine.com/nj/pumpkin/index.htm']http://www.oldengine.com/nj/pumpkin/index.htm[/a]
