DDP021 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I had posted a pic of the tractor earlier that my dad and I had done. It was originally a Simplicity 7117. We converted it to an AC 919. Well we finally finished the mower deck that came with it. Stripped it down to bare metal, replaced spindel bearings and replaced the roller shaft. Also fabbed a plate on the underside where the deck had cracked and was already welded once. Overall quite pleased with the entire project. Always good to be able to spend time with my dad. Next on the list is our 416. Have the paint just need the time!!. Deck Before Deck After Tractor and Deck together

DDP021 Posted September 4, 2007 Author Posted September 4, 2007 We used Valspar "Allis-Chalmers" orange. Purchased at TSC. Its a pretty good match to the original. Maybe a bit brighter.
