Deck Check

The last few times that I mowed, I sensed something wasn't right with my deck. Occasionally the outboard cotter pins on the roller shaft would dig into the ground. Hmmm. After mowing I put the deck up in the air and I found the rollers had over 3/4" up and down play as can be seen by the oblong hole that the roller shaft rides in.

The roller shaft is pretty worn also. Luckily, I had a spare roller assembly to put on, mows like new again.
