am i correct in thinking that accessories (like a snow blower) from a Simplicity 7016 are a direct bolt on to my AC 716? acording to the cross reference the tractors are equivelent, but are the PTOs/mounting, etc the same?

Yes, they are the same tractor except for the engine. 716 has a Kohler and the 7016 a Briggs.

The only thing you might be missing is the front clutch. That was a option for the blower, you can change it to run off the center PTO with some tweeking of the hitch.
