blackfarms1 0 Posted September 11, 2007 Gave $150 for mine. Had never been used. Sean
Oz 1 Posted September 11, 2007 Gave $100.00 for mine, with tire chains, an old cultivator, and a three belt snowblower for a Simplicity. I use the plow on a Allis Chalmers B112, and gave the snowblower away. Oz
D-17_Dave 12 Posted September 11, 2007 I have 2 of them and for the hard black clay I have around here I wouldn't give you 50.00 for one. I'd say not over 100.00 anyway. BTW, the moldboard plow of the powermax's are a little bigger than the plows for the b-series.

olcowhand 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Never found a 12" yet, only 10"er's. Love to have a 12".
BenB 3 Posted September 13, 2007 Olcowhand I read somewhere that the size is given as the length of the moldboard, not height. Is that how you understand it? Ben

Ben As standing in front end of plow you measure from tip of plowshare (plow-point)straight to your left to a line perpendicular to the back end point of the plowshare to get the cutting width. Kinda hard to explain...a diagram would make it easier to explain. Moldboard length doesn't factor.
npalen 2 Posted September 13, 2007 As olcowhand says, it's the width of the cut. An example would be a 3-14 plow taking 42" each pass around the field.
dirtsaver 1 Posted September 17, 2007 Dan I see a 12" plow for sale from time to time up here above Louisville. Want me to let you know when one shows up? Larry

Larry I'm pulling a 2 bottom I built out of two 10" Brinly's, so I don't need one anymore, BUT my BIL would love to have a 12" plow, so yes, please let me know! Thanks! Here's a link to a clip of my tractor pulling the 2 bottom. My Allis isn't heavy enough to pull it, so tractor isn't orange. If it asks for password, it's cow2cow. Think it'll take you straight to it though. Plow is short one cutter & a depth gauge wheel, so performance isn't at it's best yet.
