Finally, more progress on the 3012H.

I finally had a good day while off to paint outside. Good temp and not much of a breeze although I still got a little dirt in the paint. I painted each piece individually then reassembled last fall where it set under a cover till today when I painted the covering coat, the hood, and tank. Painted the fender pan, under side of the hood, and other mis. pieces about three weeks ago. Now I can put the engine on and start the real reassmbly and hope I can find all the piecesB). This is a combination of a 3012V and a 3212H, thus the 3012H. The 3012 had the variable all messed up but the engine was rebuilt and the 3212 just had the vickers rebuilt before the engine and nose burned off it. Yes, I got the manuals and receipts for both so I know it's true. I figured someone might like the chair support. I bought a new one back then and was going to extend it and make an small engine stand but it has worked great for this.

Progress is good! I'm starting a project myself, and I'm going to try to do something every day, no matter how small something it is. Keep moving forward. Tacey

Well a little more. I got the engine painted and the tin back on. Ready for install onto the frame now. I think I may paint the pulley and screen yet

Joe, Maybe by the May 17-18th show if the weather co-operates. Definitly by the three days in July (18-20th). The rest of the assembly and such has to be done outside but I think most of all the subassemblies are now put together and I think I have all the parts to assemble the rest quite quickly. There will probably some part I lost or didn't think of though.

johnmonkey, doesn't the h stand for hydro-stat I think. the v on my 3210v stands for variable speed. trying to add pic of my 1969 simplicity 3210v to my post. wanted to check it out & see if it works since I am new to this site I didn't know just what to do.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
