i just drug in a 4212 hydro. the mower over all looks to be in pretty fair condition but i has sat awhile and the release valve to push the mower isnt working, it was hard to get the lever to move but even after getting it to move to the release position it still wont roll. im not familar with hydro's so can anyone tell me what might be common causes for this. thanks in advance for any help.

Here's a couple of topics that should help. The second topic is a continuation of the first one. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=70771 http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=71318

Jim, I am now the owner of that particular tractor wminmi was working on, the one that was discussed in the above links. The plunger still works great, and has not locked up since. I think that the biggest factor for it getting stuck in the first place was leaving the tractor outside for an extended period of time, possibly in snow. You'll enjoy that little tractor. It's a lot of fun to drive around and it mows very well, better than the bigger ones.

Jim, P.S., I'm in Indiana too. If you ever get bored with your 4212H, shoot me a PM. I would most likely be interested in buying it from you. :o)
