Jonnysac 56 Posted September 29, 2007 I picked up this original 208 super a few days ago. This is a one owner tractor. toakley 5 Posted September 29, 2007 I'm just curious, but what does the "super" stand for? I have a B207, which originally had the 7hp B&S, so I'm assuming that the B208 is equipped with the 8hp power plant. Just wondering....Tom
jfrank1962 62 Posted September 29, 2007 SWEEEEET......Amazing what a little cold water will do! I like the T-10 also!

B-16_IC 1,029 Posted September 29, 2007 Nice haul! Is the seat on the Super as good as it looks? That blade looks very nice, and the T-10, well it's just one rare find! Nice job.:D
UCD 14 Posted September 29, 2007 Jon Is this what they call BARN FRESH?
rsnik 1 Posted September 29, 2007 Barn fresh tractors may become a rarity. Capturing and selling the methane gas from all the chicken poop on them makes them more valuable as a renewable, green, alternate energy resource, LOL!
Jonnysac 56 Posted September 30, 2007 Barn fresh is right. I think that the super has to do with 8hp motor its a little different I think??:I

Chris727 1,844 Posted October 1, 2007 I think the "super" had something to do with having the seat with arm rests and the raised hood , whereas some had a flat hood like a homesteader 8 and a regular "low back" lawnmower seat. I believe another difference was the "super" tractors had larger tires and hubcaps, these differences were outlined in one of the owners manuals at the time for a B-207 or 208, I have one at home but don't have it here, seems to me that Kent had it posted somewhere on the main site, I'll look for it and post a link if I find it. MarksA-C 93 Posted October 1, 2007 Great find! I want a B-208!
skot71 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Other than the seat, that looks just like my "regular" B-208. Maybe I'll make a super sticker and put it on mine.
Chris727 1,844 Posted October 2, 2007 Here is the page that may shed some light on the differences between the regular and the "super." http://www.simpletractors.com/operation/207_208/page_2.htm

D-17_Dave 12 Posted October 2, 2007 My 207-Deluxe has the arm rest seat and the chrome bumper. Most B's I've seen had this over thier Simplicity couterparts. Nice catch on the tire size change Maynard.
