john2oak 0 Posted October 4, 2007 Hello, i went on the "Simplicity manufacturing inc." site to have information for my 16 HP Landlord tractor. It is supposed to be a model built in the 90's. On this site, it says where to look for the MFG number. So i looked at the place mentionned and i only found a 4 digits number. Problem is, the MFG number, according to the Simplicity site is supposed to have 7 digits, or sometimes only 3 digits, but there is nothing about a 4 digit number...? So i don't have access to anything. I look on the motor, what i found was: Model:303777 Type:0411-015526 And another no (may be serial no ?) :93081811 Where or what should i look for to have information about the right MFG number to know what year it exactly is and other info ? Any advice is welcome. Thanks a lot in advance Salutations Jean
ehertzfeld 1 Posted October 4, 2007 Ok quote:Model:303777 Type:0411-015526 And another no (may be serial no ?) :93081811 Is the engine model number not the tractor. Some were on the body of the tractor there should be a sticker with the information. Dose the tractor have any numbers on the side of the hood? This may help in identifying what it is. UCD 14 Posted October 4, 2007 Jean That is a 16 hp landlord gear. They were only made in 1995/1996. The MFG# should be 1692438. gregc 3 Posted October 4, 2007 Jean, I would guess that your tractor is MFG #1692301. Model year 1991 thru 1994. Raise the hood and look on the left side of the frame for the i.d. plate or sticker. john2oak 0 Posted October 7, 2007 Hi, i look over and over all around the tractor and all i saw was a 4 digit number... I never saw another number or sign of a number anywhere on the tractor...(?). I will study the reference you suggested me. Probably that i have a lot with it to do the maintenance of my tractor. Thanks a lot again sirs, Salutations Jean
UCD 14 Posted October 7, 2007 Greg I found this tractor for Jean and I took the pictures that are posted above of his tractor before he bought it. The tractor is a 16hp 6 speed gear drive, It is not a GTG model. The 1692301 is a 16hp hydro.
gregc 3 Posted October 7, 2007 Maynard, The 1692301 is a 16 hp gear. http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/6767PRINT/PDF_files/TP_400_1183_03_LL_SMA.pdf
UCD 14 Posted October 7, 2007 The 2007 Belt and blade manual page 123 and all previous year manuals list MFG# 1692301 as hydro. Or is that just in mine and not yours? S 1692301 Landlord-16HP Hydro Drive 1707381
