cruzer 0 Posted October 18, 2007 So last night i was working on the tractor (3416H) and noticed that the rear wheels move around almost like a bad wheel bearing. Both sides have a noticable "clunk" when i move them up and down...same kind of test you would do if you were checking the wheel bearings on a vehicle. I check the 3314V and it did not make these same noises. Also the tractor appears to have wheel weights on it for a very long time...maybe this sped up the process of wearing out the transmission? So do i need to rebuild the transmission? What years/models will interchange? Are the parts available from a dealer if I need them? bushings/bearings/shafts?? Or am I going to be making them myself (yippy) Stew
RayS 79 Posted October 18, 2007 I know that the axle tube is still available so the bushing should be as well. The best way to see if parts are still available is to download your parts manual from the simplicity site. I then check Jacks website to see how much they cost. Sometimes the site will say that sorry the part is no longer available. I would then call my local dealer or a sponsor to make sure. I have had that site say NLA and they actually are. http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/techpubsearch.php http://www.jackssmallengines.com/searchdb.cfm
