holes on a 314 hood

Does any one know what the holes are for on the hood of my 314D? They are located closer to the steering wheel end of the hood.

They are not important, some one must of had something mounted there. I would weld them shut.

my 416 has the same holes in hood a little farther up but spaced the same i left them alone would like to know also what mounted there also i am thinking possibly a radio

My 416 hood is smooth. Could they have been added to mount an insect fogger?

The holes look pressed in and not drilled. They look like they were stamped in it when it was manufactured

Josh, With the way the dents are facing, it's something that was probably mounted on the underneath of the hood. Maybe it was some kind of rubber stabilizer that rested on your gas tank? Are there any markings on your gas tank? Hi, Allis sold a radio for these tractors. Would suspect these are radio mount holes. Al Eden
