Does any one know what the holes are for on the hood of my 314D? They are located closer to the steering wheel end of the hood.

Josh, With the way the dents are facing, it's something that was probably mounted on the underneath of the hood. Maybe it was some kind of rubber stabilizer that rested on your gas tank? Are there any markings on your gas tank? I see a hump on the 314 in this picture, though: http://www.simpletractors.com/images/gallery_images/KM_314.jpg Maybe it was some kind of "holder" for a cab flap on the hood?: http://www.simpletractors.com/images/gallery_images/cg_316H_cab.jpg Tech Manual for your tractor. Doesn't show any holes in the hood: http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/6767PRINT/PDF_files/TP_400_1505_00_LT_A.pdf
