There were a lot of gems at the auction where this was purchased. Would have been neat to see. http://www.auctionzip.com/Listings/335542.html

Its unreal the stuff you can still find in the right places, there is a Case collector somewhere on the internet who has a 222 or something like that still in a crate that he tows around behind a restored case at shows, but I'd say the wheel horse has a few more years on the case. Certainly not an everyday sight, thanks for posting this.

i think your right dave. the b-10/landlords are a top notch A+ mower. all my wheel horse decks are sitting in the shed. i do like the WH rear discharge decks when pulling a sweeper thou.

Here is one on the crate, only 12 miles from me. http://cgi.ebay.com/Simplicity-75th-Anniversary-model-Sovereign-18-hp-hydro_W0QQitemZ160174439162QQihZ006QQcategoryZ66761QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I met a guy who claims to have a B112 Allis new in the crate. His father owned an Allis dealer, and they kept one. I don't know for sure if I believe him, but things like that do pop up now and then. The tractor is NOT for sale, and he wouldn't even let me see it. Therefore my suspicion, but maybe just overprotective too. I have also heard a few years ago from a reliable source of a Simplicity dealer passing from dad to son after the dad died. The son decided to finally do a real inventory of the warehouse, and they had a complete, in the crate late 1950's early 1960's Simplicity walking tractor. The running joke was that it would still have a warranty - new and unsold! Getting the parts would not have been easy though. Tim
