Nubian Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 What is the correct replacement battery for my 1920? the manual only states a 12v 400cca, will any auto battery with those specs do? Interstate says the Megatron MT-35 550cca is the correct replacement is this overkill?
UCD Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Measure the length and width of your battery box as well as the tallest height you can install without the terminals touching the hood, then go to the parts store and get the largest CCA ( Cold Cranking Amps ) battery that fits those measurements You will then have a battery that will perform well in cold/freezing weather and also handle any lights and electric clutches you have operating at the same time.
Killer_A-C Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 My Sunstar calls for a 22F.Hope this helps,Matt
Nubian Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 Thanks everyone, as it turns out the battery group is 35.
