mooseman3210 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Hello , I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but i hope so . I have just finished working on and restoring my allis 410 and when i went to drive it for the first time after being down for 6 weeks i noticed a very loud noise under the tractor it looks as though the drive shaft is rubbing on the linkige to the lifter arm of the snow thrower and the drive shaft seams to be off center any ideas ??? worked real hard on this tractor and after all that the drive shaft is off ? is there a way to get this lined up ?? also this has never been an issue with this tractor i used it all summer with no problems is there a proper alinment that needs to be done . any and all comments welcome . Thank you David
joshuaareed Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Hey Dave I can stop over to your place tomorrow night and take a look at it for you, as I will be in the Elmira area tomorrow. Just call me and let me know if you will be around tomorrow evening.
wilm169 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 In the one I have, the pin the drop link hanges on had sheared off and I put a bolt through it, when it got loose it would rub the drive shaft
