daveb 1 Posted November 9, 2007 Here are a few pictures of the snow plow I'm making for my 720. It's made from a 6 ft rear blade and the pivot frame is from a western plow.
FastPaul 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Looks good .. But , I think your going to add a lot of weight to the rear to push any good amount of snow . Again looks great !!!
joshuaareed 0 Posted November 9, 2007 You are definately gonna have a strong plow. Looking good, keep up the cool pics, cause we like pics.
comet66 0 Posted November 11, 2007 What a monster. That will move plenty of snow, looks like a one pass rig. How much counter weight do you think you'll need?
daveb 1 Posted November 11, 2007 Guy's thanks for the great comments the blade is 6 ft wide and 15 1/2 inches high. it will sit about the same distance out the front as the original and bolts to the original spot. not sure how much counter weight i will need the tractor has factory wheel weight on the back and i have two steel wheels from an old mining cart for on the back if needed. thanks again Dave
Scott Salmons 7 Posted November 13, 2007 Dave how are you attaching the plow to the tractor. The original uses a mount that is solidly bolted to the frame of the tractor, with that size of blade I would think unless you mount it pretty solid something might break. daveb 1 Posted November 15, 2007 Scott I will be mounting the plow to the tractor at the same spot as the original still making the mounting bracket.
