gibtec 0 Posted November 28, 2007 Anyone had experience with removing broken shear pins in right rear hub, B10?
UCD 14 Posted November 29, 2007 What pins are you talking about. I don't believe there are any SHEAR PINS in the wheel hubs. Right wheel hub B series Left wheel hub B series
gibtec 0 Posted November 29, 2007 My B10, ~1965, has 6 roll pins mounting the differential gear to the hub on the right side. It's just as your diagram shows with the adjusting bolts, metal bearings and nylon bearing, and the pins between item 11 and 10. These pins act a shear pins. When they shear, some that don't break up are embedded on the hub side. I've tried drilling (ruined several bits) and easy outs to no success. I've had this tractor for about 14 years. Great machine, but I've had to deal with these pins shearing a couple of times.
