Mrgoodwrench22 0 Posted December 1, 2007 Good evening, I picked up 2 MF-7's today along with a simplicity something. Don,t see many simplicity's around here and haven't seen one like this. It has no sheet metal or tags on it but it is a B series chasis and rearend, has a 12hp engine and appears to be a 1970 year model. My question is, does anyone have one that has the battery between the fuel tank and dash that is a B series running gear. My 3210v has side by side gas tank and battery, just trying to get an idea what I have. Thanks jeff
Chris727 1,860 Posted December 1, 2007 The 700 and 725 (same as B-1) had the tank in that location, they are a little older than 1970, but yours could have a newer engine.
ReedS 5 Posted December 1, 2007 Could also be possibly an allis built homelite if it looks like this photo.
Mrgoodwrench22 0 Posted December 1, 2007 Thanks for the pic paul looks like it is a 700 or 725, should have mentioned it didn't look like my 712 or T-10. She's very rough but has a lot of good mechanical parts so it will probably go to the donor line. They were a package deal, THE 2 MF-7 are complete with decks but not running 25$ each the simplicity 50$.thanks jeff
