Ronald Hribar 84 Posted December 1, 2007 I was determined that I would solve my shut off problem , before I blew any snow. I bought my new switch, a new wiring harness. But had too many family events going on before the storm came today. After the festivities, my 5 year old grandson and I shoveled our drive way and side walks. His shovel was bigger than him, but he was determined to help Grandpa. Then we had to decorate tree. After that with the help of Al Eden, I installed new switch and harness. In the process, I found that old switch which has plastic body, was not grounding to the housing any longer, and if I would have run wire from the G terminal to a good ground, the tractor would have stopped with key again. A long story, but had a long day, tomorrow I will get to try the snowblower out on the plow truck bank at the end of the driveway. Last year my mid Pto clutch slipped. I have a new clutch this year so I should be able to shoot some snow again
olcowhand 0 Posted December 1, 2007 Price of switch & harness not truly needed...several bucks. Cost of time spent with Grandson....priceless! sm01
D-17_Dave 12 Posted December 1, 2007 I'd agree. The gremlins must have had a reason to help you out.
