A-C Big Ten

I have a chance to buy a Big 10. Supposedly it runs. I understand it has a rear lift of some kind. Anyone tell me what would be a fair offer? It's sitting in a barn right now and I don't know anything about A-C garden tractor values.

Here in Illinois, a B-10 would go for $75 to $400 at auction depending on condition and whether or not it has a deck. Good running AC/Simplicities with decks usually bring an automatic $150 minimum. A lot of commercial mowing guys use AC/Simplicities which makes a good deck worth $100 minimum as a new deck could run close to $1000 depending on how many parts you need(For giggles, call up a Deere dealer and see how much a new deck is, $2000 might buy you one!). In the final analysis, the value is what the value is to you. B-1's sell very well due to the emotional fact that they were the first AC Garden Trator.
