joshuaareed 0 Posted December 24, 2007 I need help with removing my old and broken differential from my A/C 314D. I was wondering if any of you guys out there could offer up some advise on how to remove it from the axle. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Chris727 1,860 Posted December 24, 2007 DO you have a service manual? It will give step by step by step info.

MPH 12 Posted December 25, 2007 Living dangerously I'll assume those are the same as the B series. Remove left tire, hub and lock collar, file and sand axle clean, pull out right side of tractor. All that is left holding it now is friction fit, I use a rubber hammer tapping all around the diff hub to remove it from the axle tube.
joshuaareed 0 Posted December 26, 2007 All fixed, Thank you RayS, I got the new diff. on Christmas eve, and cleaned them uo and installed them this morning. I had no idea that it was such a project to replace the differential. She works like a charm. Thanks to all who helped me.
