Production year for Regent

I recently bought a new 15 hp Simplicity Regent at an implement dealer auction. Since there was no salesman, I have a few questions for you guys. My operators manual lists only the 14 hp and the 16 hp Regent - it does not say anything about the 15 hp. The tractor has a Kohler Command 15 hp engine. I was assured that the manual goes with that tractor. How do I determine what year the tractor was produced? The model number is 1693528 and the serial number is 00937. Can the production year be determined by these numbers? Thank you in advance for any help Warren

It is a 2000 model, I looked it up in my 2000 year regent manuals and the numbers matched mine, how do you like your Regent? I am un happy with the quality of the CV15 High Output motor, It has broken many times under warranty. Good luck,-Brad Wies
