Bevel Gear Housing Capacity

Rick, it sounds like your tractor is a manufactuer # 990568 or 990569. My owners manual which covers those models says capacity of the bevel gear box is 1 pt. of SAE 90 wgt gear oil. My technical service manual says to "fill slowly and check level often. Gear box is full when level reaches top of filler pipe elbow (older models)or tip of filler plug - dipstick on newer models." I would like to know the gear oil capacity for the Bevel Gear housing. Simplicity Model 3210V. Any Help would be greatly Appreciated . Thanks Rick
