JDSnyder 0 Posted March 7, 2001 I am moving right along on restoration of my Landlord 101. It has a Briggs #243431 10hp engine that someone disconnected the governor on. I need the length of the linkage rod that runs from the governor bar to the carburetor. It would be easy to fashion one if I knew the exact length from connecting point to connecting point. If someone has the information or could please measure theirs, I would appreciate it. I promise to send pictures to Kent when I am finished. Thanks, Jeff Snyder
carter 0 Posted March 8, 2001 Jeff, I have a 243431 Briggs on my Big Ten Allis and the throttle rod is exactly 7 inches from the surface on the bottom of the governor arm hole to the top of the throttle arm hole. It has a couple of major kinks in it to clear the carburetor bowl and the pivot bolt for the upper governor arm. Ron Carter
