hi, I just had one quick question. You know on the rear fender, well there is a slot made for it and I don't know what it is used for. It's right next to the shift rod and it looks like a slot used for an emergency brake but I'm not sure.

The slot on the front of left side fender is for the HI/LO lever.

The Yeomans had a little tray in the front of the engine that was home for a motorcycle size battery. Even then it was a tight fit.They never used a L&G size battery to my knowledge, though I have seen some creative engineering done by desperate owners. Sam
