Kent 435 Posted March 20, 2001 David, The "34" on your tractor's model number does NOT mean the deck size. Some brands of new tractors do this, but Simplicity didn't. Sovereigns (3416s) came with either a 42" or 48" deck, with the 48" probably being more common on the 16hp tractor, with the 42" deck more common on the Landlords (3410s) ... Here's an example...[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/simplicity/new_in_1973/sovereign.htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/simplicity/new_in_1973/sovereign.htm[/a]
73simplicity 0 Posted March 20, 2001 I'm a proud owner of a '74 Simplicitiy Soveriegn. I've got a question. The numbers on the hood 3416,do they represent mower deck size and horsepower because it is a 16 hp but I don't have the deck. Thanks David
