mongoose Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Hey all, Anyone have a trick to keep the front end bolt from working loose on a b110? I have a lock washer on the back side under the engine and I have put a second nut on the bolt to keep it from working loose. Next step is to drill it and put a pin through it! Any other ideas?
ka9bxg Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Nylock nut with a jam nut for backup should never come loose with that.
MPH Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 In situations where the nylock style nut is too tall I use the self locking metal nuts, think they may be called manifold nuts. I get them from NAPA.
