nerdx86 Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 In another thread (and then verified in the op manual) richp mentioned that there was a spring that connects between a plate on the top of the hydro oil cooler and the side of the Hydro Control arm opposite of the linkage. Does anybody have one of these that they can measure so I can fabricate/purchase one? I know it's part number 107135 but I don't know where I can buy one.. Can anyone give me any advice? Also, thanks to all who explained the loose bolts that cause the surging on these tractors... My father has a '73 3410S that we all love and I've worked on for 8+ years, but the hydro is new to me.. ('72 mfg date though) This is a great site!! Keep up the great work..
gregc Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 New part # is 2107135SM. You should be able to get it from any Simplicity or Massey dealer of from some of our sponsors. The outside diameter of the spring is .633", but that's the only dimension I know.
