Landlord 3410 potential purchase

I'm looking at a Landlord 3410 for $650. It looks/sounds ok. I've never owned a Simplicity tractor and I don't know if this is a good price or not. The seller is "into" tractors and has lots of Simplicity and Cub Cadet parts and carcasses around. I like this web site but I can't find any price reference. I don't yet know the model year for the tractor. Regards, Claude

If you can get the Manufacturing ID and serial number off the tractor - typically on or about the seat/console - and give a call to Simplicity Publications, they can be helpful in identifying the model year of the tractor. And, if you decide to purchase it, you get get the owner's and service manuals for your new 'toy'. Also, if the engine is original (ie: never replaced) you can get the date the engine was manufactured from the B&S model/type/code number (stamped into the flywheel cover somewhere). Good luck !!!

3410 tractors were built from 1972-74. Around here a clean tractor with a hydro would bring around $600 tops. Typically in average condition they bring around $400.
