mgrubb47122 Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 The transmission HOT light on my little Allis (same as Simplicity 4040) has started glowing very faintly after about 15 minutes. I used to be able to pull a little 4 foot disk in first gear with ease and now it causes the light to glow. My questions: 1: should the light glow brighter as it gets hotter or just "turn on" like the manual says? and 2: What could cause it to start overheating so easily? I will note that it has Dexron ATF to the drain cock, a new NAPA 1307 filter, and new hoses with no visible kinks anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks; Mike G.
