JBLACK Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Hi folks its been a while, just finished putting a 10hp kohler in my newly acquired 7110 starts right up but is going at almost wide open throttle i am using the same cable that it had on it when it was in the7010 is that the problem? nothing else has been changed on the engine any body have a digram for the throttle/linkage on a k241? thanks.? John
BLT Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 It appears that you have a governor arm to throttle plate adjustment out of phase. if you have a Kohler maintenance manual, it will show how to adjust for it. If you don't have the book, you can download for free at Kohlerengines.com , login as guest.
