You've likely received a personal E-mail invitation to join this "club" in response to my postings (and
your response) on several antique tractor/lawn and garden sites about a Simplicity/AC garden tractor
site. Well -- this is the first step in making it public....

Since so many people wanted a discussion board, I decided to set up this part first, while I'm still
gathering information and designing the actual web site. Let the discussions begin!

Notice that I've linked to the "conceptual" framework of the upcoming home page in the list of links.
I've also included other related links that may be of value for parts or info.

To those who've volunteered to provide information to support the web site, my sincere thanks. I'm
still looking for more, specifically:
a) Marketing brochures and pictures
b) Parts information for 6xx, 7xx, 8xx, and 9xx ACs and attachments other than mowing decks
c) Maintenance and service information for the same (I have the B-series service info)
d) Help in cross-refencing AC model numbers to Simplicity model numbers
e) Other sources for parts and accessories.
f) Pictures and information for the "owners gallery"....

Please participate and encourage others to join in, as the more active the group is, the greater the
value to us all.

More to come soon!
Kent

Hello glad I got on this site. I hope to upload a couple of photos of my Simplicity Broadmoor
Model 707 Tractor. I have replaced all the belts on it and installed a new ignition switch.
Have a mower deck which was in poor shape , repaced a couple of bushings and welded the
deck where there was some holes. The tractor and mower deck came from a friend and the
mower deck metal was getting pretty thin. Some new metal was put in it and we also undercoated the underside of the deck. This was done by my friend Greg Toulman.
I have not put the mower deck on the tractor yet, waiting for Greg to come home and give me a hand. Can you please tell me if there is a manual for the mower deck and where I could get one.
I would also like to get some moon wheel discs as well.
I will try and down load some photos of the tractor when my wife shows me how to.
I really love driving this tractor and also how well it is made compare today's tractors, especially the flexible rear end and the rollers.
      Tell the next time
      Paul
