bsadler Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Are there major differences between the B 10 and a B 110, etc? I have a B 10 that I want to install a hydrostat from a 916H. I have read about a couple of conversion that were done by members and they used the B110 or B210. Thanks, Bob
RayS Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 It would be harder to do in a B 10. The dash is completely different. The B 110 the seat deck support would need to be moved back 4". There is a lot of info in the topics below. I put a Sundstrand in my HB 212. http://simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=62196 http://www.simpletractors.com/do_it/variable_to_hydro2.htm http://www.simpletractors.com/do_it/variable_to_hydro.htm
Chris727 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 It would be easier to use a long wheelbase tractor for such a conversion.
RayS Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 If you have the side plates between the BGB and the 916H hydro it would make it a long wheel base. But if you had a B 112 or B 212 you wouldn`t need to cut that seat deck support off and move it back 4". Whats wrong with the 916H?
bsadler Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks for the tips. I will look at them later. I am on my PDA now. The 916H is no more except for the hood, BGB, hydro including plates, etc. I think I have everything but the motot and frame. I need a project to keep company with my 920D and 917H not to menntion 2 Jeeps. Thanks Bob
