Well came back from vacation and went and picked this 3212V up that I won off e-bay, only 3 miles from my house:). Got carried away and started the dis-assembly process before I took some pics. I was pleasantly surprised to find it has a 16hp? engine in it and not the original 12hp. The front end is really tight yet. The BGB has no play and the variable parts seem to be in great shape. The front tires are split wide open which is why I took them off right away, but the rear were good. I sold the lift and rear tires to the person who won the tiller from him (he was picking that up at the same time)so all I have invested is $40:D.

Great buy!!! ^ Super deal if the 16 hp turns out to be OK. Looks like the poor thing was abused and put out in the field to die. :( Is the PTO operator's lever mounted correctly on the lift lever quadrant? If the PTO belt stop is still there I would like to have the dimensions of the "L" legs from it. Thanks,

The previous owner said it ran till he removed the carb for use on a nicer one he sold. He was surprised when I told him it was not the original engine and was bigger. Roy, The PTO is a little messed up but looks like it is mounted right, but behind the lift quadrant. I also want to know what you mean by stops

Thom, Picture shows where the PTO mounts. Didn't clearly understand it at first but after looking at your picture think it mounts to the rear lift lever quadrant mount bolt.

The belt stop is part BA in the picture below.

Looking for the dimensions of the "L" attached to the ring end. Thanks,

Roy, I believe your first diagram showing the PTO lever is for a 3112. The 3212 is different, more like what is in the pictures. I don't believe that they use the little bracket to mount the lever an the later model. I grabbed this photo from S/T for illustration purposes.

Reed, The one in your picture is mounted like the one in Firefoxz1's picture. Must be the way mine is supposed to go. Thanks,

It is a stud that goes through the support tower mounting hole, I think. Didn't tear into it that much. This pto does not have the guide on it:(.

After some research I know it to be a 16hp. Just a slight difference in type, 0127-01 compared to 0127-02. It runs and moves:D. I hooked up a carb and a temp gas tank, checked the points and fired it up. To my surprise the charging system worked:D which is good because I need it for my project 3016H. It seems everything works so now is the dilemma of what to do with itsm02?. When they changed the engine they cut holes in the frame to get to the mounting bolts so I think it will still be a parts machine. Roy, The stud for the PTO handle does bolt that corner of the support tower in.
