dirtmister16 Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 HB212 works great but with a few minor things that, err bother me one when i put it in the stop postion, it creeps just a bit back. i usualy just move the lever ahead a hair. the other problem, i assume need to rebuild the valve but not sure the float position doesn't stay it vibrates back and i hear a small squeal/squeak other wise i love this tractor. thanks in advance
RayS Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 http://simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=76694 This will fix the creeping.
JimDk Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Matt, Are you having trouble with the float position on the hydraulic lift? There are two float pos. on the AC's. It will float full forward or all the way to the rear. Your handle linkage may be dirty or out of adjustment. Is the stop on the quadrant worn round? It may help to file the corners square again. The squeal that you are hearing may be the hyd. pump belt slipping when the pressure builds quickly. You might need to adj. the belt. Good luck, Jim
dirtmister16 Posted July 22, 2008 Author Posted July 22, 2008 thanks,i apologize though i told you wrong. the float position is , it is the hold position that vibrates back a bit and causes the squeal. my apologies for my mistake and slight confusion. ill adjust the turnbuckle next time i get a chance. thanks for the info.
JimDk Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Problems with the hold position are probably valve related.
dirtmister16 Posted July 26, 2008 Author Posted July 26, 2008 ok, adjusted hydro lever today, works perfect now. thanks for the link. i think ill have to get the valve rebuilt sometime as the hold postion is an annoyance, but will have to wait till next year. does anyone know what the orginal front tire size was on the HB212?
