skunkhome Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I guess it is good to see one come back home. dOd
MPH Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Cute little feller now ain't it. Looks similar to my Calvilar. Well, same steering post anyway.
D-17_Dave Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I had the 7HP version of that at one time. The cone friction tranny was crap and it was changed over to a home made 3 speed manual. Once this was done I found it to be absolutely the finest cut I have ever seen with the timed bladed mower deck. That is when I could keep the Tecumseh engine running. It was a lot of fun to mow with when it ran.
Brenda Posted July 27, 2008 Author Posted July 27, 2008 This one has a briggs.....gotta bring parts home from work tomorrow cause I still have no spark :(
MPH Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 You STILL don't have a Spark???? does that make you clueless?:D:D

JimH Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Brenda, are you getting the collecting "BUG"? Neat little machine.
Brenda Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 quote:are you getting the collecting "BUG"? I think this one makes 12? Gonna have to go count again :D Was out mowing with this one Friday night ^ br] You going to Portland Jim?
Roy Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 "I think this one makes 12?" Have you considered professional help or Tractors Anonymous?? :D
Brenda Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 quote:or Tractors Anonymous Now there's a thought! :D :D
ZippoVarga Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I would have to agree that 12 makes for an addiction. Now all we need is a 12 step program in place! The reports are slowly coming in for those going to portland next week. I am planning on being there opening day and possibly Saturday as well.
DMedal Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 a problem is when your tractor shed costs more than the house. Or your wife left but you didn't notice for a week because you had a tractor to finish. Or when you have too many to get around to starting all the runners once a season. I know I've seen you guys checking out yards for another old tractor. 12 tractors sounds like a nice number to me. -Don
