DitchWI Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Hey everyone, Newbie here to the lawn & garden tractor bug. Picked up a HB-212 a year ago and finelly got it out to do a full restoration. After brousing this site and seeing all the good info I decided to become a member - thanks for having me. I sure have alot of question but will only ask one or two at a time. Seems like the only thing that I could use some help with is that the original seat was replaced long ago and I would like to find the right parts to bring it as close to original as possable. Tried Sandy Lake knowing they have the cusions and brackets but not the arm rest brackets. Anybody know if they are available anywhere? After seeing some of the machines that have been restored I was wondering if the chrome hubcaps were standard or a option? Can I buy these as new parts or do I have to find used rusty ones to to replate? Thanks for all your help, Doug
gregc Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Welcome aboard Doug. You will probably have to watch ebay for the armrest brackets or you can place a wanted ad in our Classifieds section. I believe the chrome hubcaps were an option and are still available from Simplicity. The front hubcap is part #2156211SM and the rear is #2154505SM.
