mikeman Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I have a 3112H that has play in the axles and wheels and read on here you could upgrade with newer parts. Would a 712S axles and differential swap to my tractor.
MikeES Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 No, but some parts are interchangeable. The Hydro uses a different axle tube than the gear shift. The 712 will have the longer right side wheel hub, along with the longer solid axle, also the differential will have the springs in it. This could be changed as a package to your existing tube axle. You probably need new keys, and if lucky you may not need any axle parts. Take it apart, just about everything that can give play is out by the right hand hub/differential.
