DMedal Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I have a T16H which I have found to be generally identical to a 7016H. I want to put the mower on it to make stripes but have gotten myself confused as to what is the right belt. The mower seems in good shape but the PO didn't provide a belt with it. I thought I had the right part number but then found that one is for the 7100 series, not the 7000 series. I've heard all the advice about using factory belts for the mower belt and am convinced, so what part # do I order? thanks in advance, Don

gregc Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 PTO belt for 48" deck is #1722039SM = 71.6" HA belt. PTO belt for 42" deck is #2176439SM = 74.1" HA belt.

Now I'm confident enough to actually spend the $$$ on a belt. I'm getting excited to get mowing our 3 acres with a real mower and not the Toro and MTD. -Don
