This was the reason for the trip

This was not the reason for the trip, but impossible to pass up

Got it for my buddy Chris who has a 700. It will make a nice B-1 when we're through with it. Then there's this...

These

And finally this

Now a short story. Stopped by Rons place to pick up a deck that Mack got with a tractor, but didnt get to pick up when he got the tractor. While at Rons he said something to the effect that one of these days I'll be sorry that I don't take trailers on these trips. Then I wound up getting all this stuff and all that I had with me was a short bed 1987 S-10 pickup WITH a tool box. I did manage the impossible though and got both the B-1 and the Wonder-Boy with it's 32 inch deck, the plow, the weights and the blade hitch all in the bed of the truck with nothing hanging off the back of the tailgate. So...Now I'm seriously thinking about getting my trailer frame finished up into my 7x18 foot tractor hauler. The truck, my self and my youngest Daughter all made it back from Ohio in one piece, but these trips would be SO much easier with a trailer in tow. Thanks to Mack for his hospitality and for another ebay item well received. Not to mention all the other goodies. If I had more room I would have probably come home with more. Thanks Mack!!

Looks like quite a haul, pretty amazing what you stuffed in that pickup, any pics of it loaded down?

Nice- I could use a set of wheel weights....

I took three pictures of the truck loaded down, two of my Mastiff sniffing the tires of the B-1 and two videos of the little Wonder-Boy in action today after I got it running and got everything adjusted on it then my Daughter accidentaly dropped the camera and it wiped the memory. The camera is fine, the pictures are but a memory. So...picture this...The B-1 was in first and piggy backed up on the tool box then secured with a 2x4 against the cab to keep from risking a broken back window in the event I had to slam on the brakes. I strapped it in with one strap to hold it to the 2x4. Then took the deck off the Wonder-Boy and piggy backed the wonderboys front axle over the seat of the B-1 then strapped the Wonder-Boy to the B-1 and ran another precautionary strap accross the back of the Wonder-Boy. It was the reason for the trip after all, so I didn't want to see it dangling off the back of the truck. Then the plow was put under the B-1, the deck to the right along with the weights being tucked under the tool box and the plow hitch nested under the Wonder-Boy. Then there were the two 7 foot long ramps. They were tucked into a "just fit" nook on the left side of the bed over the wheel well and strapped down. At least I now know that I can go after one thing and figure out how to bring home many. But that trailer has been moved up on the list of things to get done ASAP...lol.
