rsnik Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I want to make a shameless plug (which I hope wont get me in trouble) for eBay seller solo6638xcj who I think is club member Steve Olson. I have bought from him before and been blown away by what a good deal it was but I just bought this power lift conversion kit from him on eBay: That is the eBay picture as offered for sale. Here is what it looked like after unpacking everything from the box: I unwrapped the pump to look at it. But the rest came as you see it. New hoses in a separate freezer bag. But everything else bubble wrapped and then surrounded with peanut bags. Then, yards of cotton quilt batting separated each layer to ensure that what you bought got to you in perfect condition. This amounts to getting treated really well. A businessman who consistently delivers jaw dropping nice parts and treats you like family as a customer deserves a plug.
ZippoVarga Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I have to agree. When an item is cared for as though it is still a coveted item after a sale then you have an individual who deserves a plug and then some. Kudos to Steve and to you for recognizing his attention to protective detail and making it apparent to every one. I can say the same thing about Mack and his careful packing of my right hand lift lever. And then his concern for the safe transport of the 450 Wonder-Boy that I also won from him off Ebay. We seldom are prepared to compliment a job well done but always ridicule a job that's been short changed. It's nice to see others appreciation for a job well done.
Killer_A-C Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I have bought several items from him as well. Never misrepresents anything and packages very well. Also sends a follow up email.dOddOd
rsnik Posted August 11, 2008 Author Posted August 11, 2008 Holy Cow! Sean, you bought that right hand lift lever! I made my wife come over and watch like it was the Super Bowl or something telling her that this is a very usefull and valuable accessory that very rarely comes to market.
ZippoVarga Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 That's why I set all my alarms to scream at me when it was 30 minutes from closing. With my bad back and having to be a contortionist to change implements it was a need that held little boundaries to my wallet. It's the first I've seen in my many years as an ebay member. And after getting it installed on the old LL I knew it was money well spent.
