Rear Pto / tiller hook on

Hi i have got a 1971 simplicity sovereign 3314 v. I was having a tractor pull against another tractor. I let of the clutch kind of fast i herd a snap i had broke the tiller hook on / where you hook on a trailer But my real question is (i know i have to drill the broken bolt out) when i get that old bolt out is there a nut in side the trans welded to it so the bolt will catch on to so the bolt dosent just spin sorry for the last post i was in a rush the land lords have to same rear end to

The case should be threaded. If you have a left handed drill bit alot of times they will screw right out while drilling.
