'69 Landlord 3210V repair questions

I have a 3210V Landlord that I'm in the process of going through. I've not aquired manuals yet. Last summer I noticed a rattle coming from the center of the tractor at higher RPMs. My first thought was the gear box. When I took ofF the console cover last night I was able check things out. There is some slop in the input shaft - noticeable play . What bearings are used here? Any advice on setting the box up after I replace the bearings. Also, the V-drive......is any lubrication needed on the sliding bushing surfaces of each pulley? Copper bushings showing now. One final question: How does the parking brake function? It is disconnected now. I see a hole in the clutch lever for the parking brake rod to go through. The rod extends back to a sleeve affair with a small threaded lever that extends through the frame. Does tighteneing the lever lock the brake? Thanx in advance.....Dick B

Input shaft has a needle bearing behind the front seal & a ball bearing behind that. Brake pedal is locked down by tightening the srew handle that pokes thru the slot in the frame. Lube of the variable is not normally done but wouldn't hurt if it is kept off of the belt. Bill
