Simpleton7016 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 This may be a mundane question and no, I did not search the archives. Is there any preference, from anyone, for one style of chute over the other. I see two kinds: the rounded ones like this: or a squared off one like this one on e-bay now: Are there any subtle diffences in performance?
dentwizz Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 The latter listed is easier to clean when clogged. Wet snow can "fall" out the front. The other type is I think a higher discharge velocity (higher hp requirement also) so this is less concern. Just my take on it.
Simpleton7016 Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 'tis a good take. Thanks. I think I will go with the latter one then.
