fwo Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 My son Blake and I were in Portland, Indiana today. We left Homerville, OH at 4 AM and got to Portland before 8 AM. We had a nice day and saw a lot of AC's. Actually there were around 420 Allis tractors there. Drove just 4 miles less than 400 miles. Here are 28 pictures of little AC's.
skunkhome Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Great bunch of pictures... A 4 bottom behind a 720? I have to get an icecream churn for my tractor. :p
MowerMechanic Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 wish our shows had so many little A/C's. They just where never as popular here as back east.:(

They are getting better around here I myself take 3 or 4 plus a cart MDB shows a whole stable when he comes out:drl and with other guys getting into it the barn fresh tractors are coming out of the wood work. I wonder does the churn make orange ice cream?
ZippoVarga Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Next to last and third to last would be My self and my buddy Chris who bought my 3212V after I restored it. That's his son Christopher on the back with a sulkey we thought up the night before. The show was a bust for me but this is what my buddy Chris came home with.... It's a SWEET B-210 that's all original except for the recovered seat. A guy that pulled into the show right behind us asked us if we coule give him an idea what his Allis was worth and stated that he brought it out to the show to sell. It never made it into the show as my buddy Chris snagged it the instant the guy threw out a price. This brings his collection to the 3212V, early B-10, 700, B-1, 637 Yeoman and the B-210. I'd say his conversion from Wheel Horse is complete!!
firefoxz1 Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Thanks for the pictures. Someone definitly made a round hood tractor his own (the one with the ice cream churn). quote:Originally posted by ZippoVarga This brings his collection to the 3212V, early B-10, 700, B-1, 637 Yeoman and the B-210. Gary Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 That 720 can pull the 4 bottom plow all day long........as long as it doesn't put it in the ground.:D
PeppyDan Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 The guy that owns the 720/4 bottom plow bought a 718 puller from me years ago. I asked him shortly after he finished the plow if he had even tried to drop it in the ground. He said that the 720 did pull the plow about 3-4 inches deep in a dried p sandy creek bottom. It needed more traction but seemed to have enough power to handle the plow in those conditions. Dan
skot71 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Trailer looks good Sean. What all did you have to do to it? By the way, I'm not the one that put the white cross on it! One more question, what is that parked next to the S-10? Looks like a 30's truck.
ZippoVarga Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 It is...real nice truck. It wound up in the old car show part of the tractor show for a while on Saturday.
620Doc Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I could not make the trip. But I'm glad you did. Thank you for the images.
