axle tubes

Charlie, I guess it depends on what tractor, wheels and tires it will be connected to. Looking at my tractors, (hydro and vari-drive) I can't believe the short axle tube will work with the wider and larger tires (23x10.5x12) without clearance problems. Mike S.

Quick question to the club, which is a better setup for a hard working lawn tractor, the short axle tubes[ie.1963 725] or the longer tubes [ie.B12]? I have one of each, but long tube asmb is in great condition. don't want to swap into more problems just cause I have it.[ short one needs rebuilt] I'm open to everyones thoughts and thanks in advance .
