Strange B-110?

During the process of researching this site and working on my tractors, I have noticed some odd things about my B-110 tractor. 1. The rear gear box is yellow, similar to like what the B-1, & early B-10 looked like. 2. The hood is flat with no door above the gas tank, like used on the B-210. 3.I do not have an engine code as of yet(where is it located)? But, there are some noticable external differences between it and my B-112. 4. The sticker below the key and in front of the 3-speed gear shifter says Allis-Chalmers model B-110 Serial no. 069362. 5. The grill is the flat mesh with square holes again, like the older B-10(as opposed to the corrugated(sp?) on my B-112). 6. The bevel gear box is black which I think it should be? The bevel box on my B-112 is orange, Simp. replacment perhaps? My Grandpa bought the tractor new with hyd. lift. This brings up another point, some one at some time cut the hyd. lift handle, welded an extension on to make about the lenth of a manual handle then welded the top back on requiring two hands to lift up on that rod thingy to get it into float position. I showed him pix of what a B-110 should look like. He said it never had anything changed, this is how it was when he purchased it new. He also said it never had the Allis-Chalmers decal on the hood or the decal on the side that said B-110. Hope I didn't forget anything. Could this be a product of several parts tractors put together by the dealer? Any questions or comments please post, thanks Jordan.

Definitely sounds like this tractor is made up of parts. I'd like to see a picture of it. Especially how they fit the old grill in to the B-110.

Pulled the head today to measure the bore, 3'' like the B-1 & early B-10
