B-10 Paint

I'm rebuilding a B-10 and am looking for paint that is off the shelf. I have heard some use a Cat Yellow and I tried it. It looks good but is not a close match. The cost for the mixing of the PPG paint is realy more than I can afford. Has anyone had any luck with any spray can stuff? Thanks Brian

Brian, There is a "school bus" yellow that is closer than Cat yellow if you can find it. Ron

I use a Rustoleum-made paint sold under the name American Accents, the color is Brilliant Yellow 7912. It's the closest thing I've found that's both a decent paint (it's made by Rustoleum) and relatively inexpensive. You might find a better match going over to the automotive touchup paints (someone posted below that there's a Chrysler Brilliant Yellow that matches closely) but they're small, relatively expensive cans. The quality of automotive touchup paint may be significantly better than these spray bombs, though...
