garden tractor pulling

would like to here from other garden tractor pullers. my three daughters and i use AC tractors. lets chat, e-mail.

We're pulling this yr. with a 7012H-Kohler Sim in 1000/1100lb. stock class and a Sim. 3112 3 spd with an 18 Kohler Magnum twin for unlimited weight class.10.5X12 rubber only.

Rob, We pull 550#, 650#, 850#, 950#, 1050#, & 1150# stock. 4000rpm max otherwise stock engine 23-10.50 X 12 max tires. Also 1200# modified for "stock appearing" engines with 26-12x12 max tires. I pull a Wheel Horse Suburban in the 550# to 850# classes. A AC Big Ten in the 950# to 1150# classes and a Gilson S-16 in the modified class. Great fun. Several 300 and 400 series AC's, a couple of Simplicities and a few Deeres. Hopefully we will be up and runing again in a few weeks. The last of the snow is about gone. Ron

Rob, my 10 yr. old son and I pull in Western WI. and Eastern MN. with a 3314V Sim. that looks like an AC712 (see "Puller in Disguise" in Gallery) and are adding an AC917 to pull with for this season. We have been at this for 3 years now. We have 26x12x12 rubber both in lug tires and turf. We pull in the 800#, 1000#, 4000rpm with the 3314. The 917 will be restricted to 3500rpm. Sorry to say that one of the clubs we pull with changed rules this year and will not allow the 917 in the stock classes, we will have to pull in Stock Altered. That will be tractors with polished ports, cammed, large carbs. and open rpm. Mike S.
