B-112 mower deck belts

I know this has been discussed before but, what are the correct numbers for the belts. I went to my dealer today to they looked them up in the service manual and got what was supposed to be the correct belts. I have belt # 164146 DF, goes from bevel gear box down to PTO assembly, I beleive it is called the PTO belt. Got home, put it on and with idler engaged, it is probably 2'' to 3'' long. Also got the one that goes from the PTO assembly to the deck(48'') # 108458 DF, too short! With spring loosend, I cannot get it around both pulleys, it is probably at least 4'' too short. Can anybody tell me what the correct belt #'s are and if these are correct what is wrong!? Jordan, Also are there any draw backs to running without the muffler, besides noise, I have earmuffs. Thanks, any help is appreciated, Jordan.

Hi there. Would you happen to have the model number for your tractor and the mower deck. Also, do you know if the PTO that is on your tractor is the original one? It sounds like your tractor might be a combination between a B-112 and a B-212. The PTO belt for the 212 shows to be shorter than the 112. Depending on the mower deck, they take many different numbers. If you can get those numbers, we should be able to figure this out. Later,
